Saudi Arabia is Making Cube Shaped Structure

Saudi Arabia has presented designs for The Mukaab, a massive cube-shaped landmark, under the supervision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) intends to erect The Mukaab in Riyadh by 2030, which will be 400 meters high, wide, and long. According to the PIF, it will be big enough to house 20 Empire State Buildings, a US skyscraper

The project will include numerous entertainment venues in addition to 100,000 homes, 9,000 hotel rooms, and an enormous 1.4 million square meters of office space. 334,000 direct and indirect employment as well as SR 180 billion ($48 billion) in revenue are expected.

The triangular forms used in the building’s architecture are a nod to Saudi Arabia‘s Najd area.

Some netizens have claimed that the building resembles the Kaaba in Makkah, although this statement is untrue because Riyadh is home to many buildings of this type.
