Punjab launched online services to Facilitate Students

The caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has officially launched online services and a mobile application for the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) to facilitate students, as reported by News.

During his visit to BISE Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the e-services and mobile application, providing students with easy access to result cards, certificate verifications, migration NOCs, and other necessary documents.

He emphasized that these online services would soon be extended to the remaining eight boards across the country, offering significant time-saving benefits for students.

In a related development from the previous year, President Dr. Arif Alvi advocated for the adoption of virtual education by universities nationwide to enhance the talents and skills of students.

Speaking at the 13th convocation of Virtual University, the president highlighted the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) policy awaiting final approval, allowing all universities to provide 30% of their education virtually.

He noted the global trend of educational institutions transitioning from traditional brick-and-mortar systems to virtual education, citing examples from the United States where over 50% of courses in each university were delivered virtually, with a focus on improving quality.
