The matriculation and intermediate examination schedules for all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) for the academic year 2022–2023 have been finalized by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC). Examination details suggest that the decision was made during a recent PBCC meeting in which the heads of every BISE in Punjab were present. The first day of the matric and inter-annual exams will be April 1, 2023, and May 20, 2023, respectively.

The yearly exams for classes 9 and 10 across all BISEs were held this year after a little delay. Class 9 exams took place in May/June, whereas class 10 exams were taken in May.
The class 9 annual exams began on May 26 and ended on June 10. On September 19, the results for class 9 were released. Class 10’s final exams began on May 10 and ran until May 25. On August 31, the results for class 10 were released.
Separately, the Punjab government made the winter break schedule for all of the province’s public and private schools official.
