The annual Urs (death anniversary) of Hazrat Shah Hussain, also known as Madhu Lal Hussain, is announced as a holiday in Lahore by the Punjab government on Monday.
The announcement made by the provincial government’s Services and General Administration Department reads, “It is hereby announced for the general public that a Local Holiday in Lahore District shall be observed on March 11, 2023 (Saturday) on account of “Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain (R.A)”.
The statement stated that only districts and their subordinate offices in the Lahore district will observe the holiday.
