Additionally, the age restriction has been removed, enabling pilgrims of any age to travel to Saudi Arabia and perform the Haj. This amount will be split while keeping the current health regulations in accordance with the quotas given to each nation.

In addition, Pakistan will be able to send about 180,000 pilgrims to complete this year’s Hajj in July. Pakistan now ranks second in terms of pilgrimage behind Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population, according to the Saudi Hajj authorities’ announcement. Pakistan’s Hajj quota for 2023 has been doubled to 179,210 pilgrims by Saudi Arabia.

The cost of the government’s Hajj program varies depending on the cities. The price of the Hajj package in Karachi, Quetta, and Sukkur will be PKR 745,967 without Qurbani and PKR 791,337 with Qurbani. The pilgrims must pay an additional PKR 3,100 if they want to bring their children.

Hajj costs PKR 755,017 with Qurbani for Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot, PKR 800,387 without Qurbani, and an additional PKR 4,000 for pilgrims who bring their newborn.

Please be aware that the prices do not include the symbolic currency of PKR 50,000.

Although each authorized private Hajj agent has its own rates, the majority of them vary from about PKR 700,000 for the entry-level package to PKR 900,000 for the top-of-the-line package with additional facilities and services. Who is able to obtain a Hajj visa?

Anyone who can complete the Hajj is eligible for a visa. Saudi Arabia is allowing all pilgrims to undertake the Hajj this year, both from inside and outside the country, as long as they are completely immunized and under the age of 65. You can obtain the application form from the Saudi Consulate that is closest to you. However, it is highly advised to use a licensed travel agent that will handle all of your travel, lodging, and other needs to undertake the Hajj. Your application will be forwarded to the Saudi Consulate by the travel agent. It is also recommended that you submit your application for a Hajj visa between mid-Shawwal and the 25th of Dhul-Qa’dah each year.
