Fans of Tekken are in for a treat: Lidia Sobieska from Tekken 7 will be the latest DLC character available in Tekken 8 this summer.
The new character was unveiled by game creators Bandai Namco Entertainment (BNE) during EVO Japan 2024, the country’s biggest gaming event.
The company released a teaser trailer for their next character as well.
Lidia Sobieska is the second Tekken 8 DLC character to be revealed, after Eddy Gordo, who was revealed earlier this month.
For fighters who will be joining the game this winter and fall with the Year 1 Pass, there will be additional announcements.
Furthermore, Season 1 of the game will have several free updates that go into the careers of the Season 1 characters all over Tekken 8’s cinematic story mode and include a new stage called “Seaside Resort.”
Players will be allowed to come up with and capture their unique fights with the launch of a new “Photo Mode.”
Tekken 8 is now available on several systems, including PCs using Steam and the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
