Govt to Distribute 1 Lac Laptops Among Talented Students

According to Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, the laptop program would be reinstituted into the Prime Minister Youth Program this year. The SAPM recently disclosed that the program’s goal is to give 100,000 laptops to students at a press conference.

She conveyed sorrow over the previous administration’s decision to end the program and emphasized the value of laptops in allowing young people to continue their education and work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The laptops provided by the previous administration, led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, were important in promoting continuity in the face of challenging circumstances.

In addition, the government established the National Innovation Award as part of its efforts to encourage young people to create businesses of their own. The purpose of this award is to honor and support creative projects and ideas.

The SAPM highlighted the government’s dedication to encouraging young people to engage in healthy activities. About 54,000 kids engaged in different sports activities over the course of the past year. Twenty-five locations hosted hockey trials, while twenty-eight regions hosted volleyball trials.

Additionally, the SAPM declared that registration for football trials had begun across the country, giving young people from all around Pakistan a chance to demonstrate their sporting prowess.

Collectively, these programs demonstrate the federal government’s focus on empowering and involving young people, giving them access to educational opportunities, fostering creativity, and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
