Shadab Khan says Saim Ayub is good as Babar Azam

Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s captain for the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan, stated his excitement about teaming with the highly regarded youngster Saim Ayub.

Shadab recently praised Saim’s remarkable talent and stylish batting in a PCB podcast, drawing comparisons to Babar and Abdullah Shafique.

“Saim has extraordinary talent, in my opinion. We now have a player like him who is as stylish and talented as Babar and Abdullah after a very long period “Shadab stated.

“Saim is a player in the same category as Babar based on the way he plays. Even when they score runs against your team, players like them are too fantastic to watch. Some of these batters are too stylish “Added he.

The 20-year-old was picked up to the national team for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan as a result of his steady and stylish play in the recently finished eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

With Peshawar Zalmi, the left-handed batter had started the inning alongside the team’s captain Babar, scoring 341 runs in 12 games.

Shadab will perform as the team’s vice-captain during the Afghanistan series in place of key players including Babar, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman.

Saim Ayub, Azam Khan, Ihsanullah, and Zaman Khan, four promising young players who did well in the PSL Eight, are on the team.
