`A three-match ODI series between Afghanistan and Pakistan will take place in Sri Lanka and is scheduled to begin on August 22 at Hambantota.

Both teams will have the opportunity to get ready for the series and the Asia Cup, which starts on August 30.

Four One-Day Internationals between Pakistan and Afghanistan have previously taken place, with the former winning each one. In the 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, the two teams last played vs one another in this format.

The players from Pakistan will leave on August 17, and the Pakistani team will arrive in Hambantota on August 18. On August 14, 15, and 16, the players in Pakist an participated in a training camp lasting three days at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

On August 10, the Afghanistan team arrived in Sri Lanka to finalize their preparations for the Pakistan series.
