Watch PSL9 Final: Islamabad United Vs Multan Sultans

In an expected Pakistan Super League 9 final, Multan Sultans and Islamabad United will face off, but who will take home the prized PSL trophy this year?

While Multan Sultans have once again made good use of their data analytics to show off their strong match-up game and their four final looks in the last four years—despite Haider Azhar’s departure as general manager this year—Islamabad United has won the PSL trophy twice and this will be their third final in the competition.

The 2021 winners are keen to equalize their record with Islamabad United, but Shadab Khan’s club has a chance to win the league a record three times and establish themselves as the most successful PSL team ever.

The only two opposition to defeat Multan Sultans this season were Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United. Multan Sultans have dominated the PSL.

Despite losing to them in the group stages, Rizwan’s team showed their mental toughness and all-around skills by winning decisively by 7 wickets in the playoffs to get to the final.
Islamabad United has emerged victorious from the playoffs, and after beating Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, they now appear unbeatable.

The two-time champions were in trouble at 91-5, but they came out on top thanks to the valiant efforts of Imad Wasim and Haider Ali.

The accumulation of the grand finale has been an exciting one, and it appears we’re about to witness another historic PSL finale.
Report on Pitch:

During the United vs Zalmi Eliminator 2 match, the National Bank Arena wicket in Karachi showed its true qualities. The pitch held, giving hitters enough bounce and pace to regularly hit over the boundary. When United plays the Sultans in the final match, this pattern is anticipated to continue.

Because of their excellent batting, Islamabad will try to chase down any total put in front of them, but Multan’s bowling attack, which includes Chris Jordan and Usama Mir, is strong enough to hold a par score of 172.
