Sea View Beach will host the Karachi Air Show, a highlight of the current International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024. An thrilling display of Pakistan’s armed forces and their cutting-edge military prowess is anticipated at the event.
Dynamic performances will be included in the air show, such as an aerial display by the Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder and F-16 planes and a demonstration of combat preparedness by the Pakistan Navy’s Sea King helicopters. Daring parachute jumps will be executed by Special Services Group (SSG) Commandos, displaying their exceptional accuracy and expertise.
The purpose of the event is to provide a deeper look at the operational ability of Pakistan’s three military branches while showcasing their collaboration and skill. With ambassadors, military attachés, and other foreign dignitaries present, it will also provide a forum for enhancing military relations between nations.
The November 19–22 IDEAS 2024 event has attracted 224 domestic and 333 foreign businesses, in addition to participation from 17 new nations.
The Haadif Small Arms Simulator, which improves army training with a variety of weapons, and innovations like the Haider tank and Shahpar-3 drone, which demonstrate Pakistan’s emphasis on innovation and independence in defense technology, are important attractions.
