The Sindh government declared on Friday that all schools, colleges, and institutions will be closed on Wednesday, April 12, in respect of Youm-e-Ali.
The Department of Education also released a notification in this regard.
According to the Steering Committee meeting resolution from February 22, 2022, all public and private educational institutions under the administrative authority of the College Education Department must be closed on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in observance of Youm-e-Ali (21st Ramadan, 1444), according to the notification.
On April 12, the nation will remember Youm-e-Ali, the day of Hazrat Ali’s (RA) martyrdom.
On Youm-e-Ali, which is honored on the 21st of Ramadan, several processions are held around the nation to remember Hazrat Ali’s martyrdom (RA).
