The government of Punjab has significantly improved the lives of employees in the Labor Department.
According to a notification released by the Punjab Labor Department, the government has decided to increase the social aid provided to its employees. The price of the marriage grant has increased from 200,000 to 400,000 rupees. Additionally, the government raised the death grant by 33% to Rs. 800,000.
The decision to raise these welfare funds was authorized by the board of directors of the Workers Welfare Fund. Starting on March 27, this increased welfare aid will be available. It’s important to note that the Punjab government agreed to pay medical professionals’ allowances earlier this week.
A summary of the Rs. 28,000 allowances for grades 17 to 20 and Rs. 19,000 allowances for grades 18 to 20 officials was provided to the Finance Department by the Punjab Health Department.
