In a recent interview, Shahid humorously begged Shaheen to stop referring to him as “sasur.” He gave proof for his choice by mentioning how recently he had won a cricket trophy. Shahid said to Shaheen in an interview with Samaa TV, “Sasur, tumhare muh se main dubara na sunu (I don’t want to hear this word from your mouth again)”.
“So if he has won the trophy (in the PSL for Lahore Qalandars), I have also won the trophy in Qatar (Legends League Cricket),” Shahid added.
In March, Lahore Qalandars, led by Shaheen, beat Multan Sultans in a remarkable last-ball victory to win the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the second time in a row.
