Amir criticizes Pakistan team management for destroying Ihsanullah's confidence

Mohammad Amir, a former cricketer for Pakistan, expressed his disappointment with Ihsanullah’s removing from the initial squad against New Zealand.

Ihsanullah’s outstanding performance in the previous series against Afghanistan, in Amir’s opinion, should have secured him a spot. But in the first four T20Is of the series against the Kiwis, Ihsanullah went unnoticed.

I was excited to watch Ihsanullah bowl in the New Zealand series, but he has been benched. Afghanistan series ka sabse acha bowler tha, Ihsan @thePSLt20 ka. Everyone was loving his fast and forceful bowling and celebration. Instead of destroying Ihsan’s self-confidence, we should develop him, Amir tweeted.

The 20-year-old, who played for Multan Sultans and made his PSL debut there, completed the tournament with 22 wickets to place second overall.

Due to his outstanding tournament play, he was given the chance to play for his country in a three-match T20I series in Sharjah against the Afghan team. Ihsanullah finished the series with six wickets and was also the series’ top wicket-taker.
