Afridi expresses his disappointment that, despite multiple requests, his privacy was breached.

The photos of Pakistani bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi’s wife Ansha, the daughter of renowned cricketer Shahid Afridi, were leaked on social media, and he expressed disappointment. Ansha and Shaheen’s Nikah was solemnized on Friday in Karachi.

“I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to disrupt our wonderful big day,” the pacer stated on the microblogging website Twitter.

Their Nikah had been solemnized by Maulana Abdul Sattar. The cricketers Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan, as well as squash legend Jahangir Khan, attended a reception that followed the Nikah.

The daughter of Saqlain Mushtaq, the team’s current head coach and a seasoned cricketer, and Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan also announced their Nikah last month; none of their images were released because the pair sought seclusion.

Khan updated his followers on Twitter about the major life event and asked that his privacy be respected in the aftermath.
