ISLAMABAD: According to ARY News, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has increased the minimum passing scores for the matric and intermediate exams.

The FBISE has announced that the passing score criteria for matriculation and intermediate-level exams have been raised from 33% to 40%.

The message specified that students. who would only be deemed successful going forward if they received 40 out of 100 in any subject.

It is important to note that the stakeholders improved the passing mark from 33% to 40% and improved the grading system of Education in pakistan for matric and intermediate levels nationwide in November of last year.
