According to the details, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to extend the date of submission of Hajj applications.
In this regard, Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed has said that the period of receipt of Hajj applications is being extended by 10 days, the extension of the date of submission of Hajj applications will be announced today.
Aneeq Ahmed said that applications will be received under the official regular Hajj scheme and sponsorship scheme.
The Minister of Religious Affairs said that due to the economic conditions of the country, fewer Hajj applications have been submitted, despite reducing the Hajj package by Rs.1 lakh.
Till yesterday, 40 thousand 175 applications were submitted under the government scheme.
It should be noted that till now only one-third of the applications have been collected under the quota of the official Hajj scheme, the Hajj expenses are around Rs. Disinterest in Hajj is coming to the fore.
