On Eid, the Indo-Pak forces share sweets

The local commanders of the Border Security Force (BSF) India and Pakistan Rangers Punjab exchanged sweets at the Wagah-Attari border.

Similar sentiments were shared by the border guards of the two nations at the Ganda Singh Wala border post in Kasur and other bordering regions.

Although our relations with India are tense, it is a good idea for both countries to show goodwill to each other on each other’s religious and national and religious festivals, according to the citizens who gathered to observe the move at the Wagah border during Eid.

It has become traditional for the Indian and Pakistani forces to exchange sweets on holidays and other events each year, as well as on national holidays.

The practice seeks to increase mutual trust amongst neighbors who possess nuclear weapons and to bring about peace.
