The construction of high-height office buildings is still progressing in the nation’s capital despite a huge surge in construction expenses.
The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) design-vetting committee recently approved the development plans for nine more towering structures that would be placed strategically in lucrative areas.
One of the authorized projects is a spectacular 26-story hotel that will line Club Road. This development is expected to need billions of rupees in investments and will bring in a variety of businesses related to the construction industry.
Key members of the planning division of the civic body were present during the meeting of the design-vetting committee, which was held at the CDA headquarters.
One of the significant permits entails a 26-story structure that will rise on plot 13 of Club Road and measure an amazing 27,394.40 square yards.
A 15-story structure with a 1,333.33 square yard footprint was also approved for the New Blue Area on plot number B-2.
The list of approved projects also includes a nine-story tower for the Institute of Cost Management Accounts of Pakistan and a building for the Asian Development Bank, both of which will be located on plots of 4,840.40 square yards in sector G-5.
After carefully going over all the documents, the committee also approved the building plans for six- and seven-story structures situated in sectors I-8 and F-8.
In addition, the committee gave the go-ahead for the development of three commercial buildings in two private housing societies.
