A four-month program called the first-ever Google App Growth Lab has been began in Pakistan with the goal of identifying high-potential app developers, studios, and businesses that are wanting to expand and accelerate their business activities.
With the help of Google experts in fields including Ads, AdMob, Firebase, gTech, and Play as well as industry leaders, the program is made to provide rigorous teaching and support to app developers.
The success of the Gaming Growth Lab in Pakistan last year led to the launch of the App Growth Lab creativity. According to Google, the program demonstrates its dedication to fostering Pakistan’s app business on a local and international level. Starting in June, the program will last for four months. Applications are accepted through May 22, 2023 from interested organizations, developers of apps, and studios.
A private market intelligence company called Data Darbar said that Pakistan’s app market saw a 35% increase in 2022, with 3.52 billion downloads. The four main pillars of the App Growth Lab program are Build, Develop, Launch, and Scale.
The program’s “Build” component aims to assist participants in discovering the global app and gaming market and understanding various levers to establish an extensive business strategy.
The ‘Develop’ component will use best-in-class technology and an approach to app and game product development that is user-centric to position the app for long-term success.
The ‘Launch’ component will teach participants how to create monetisation models, win the launch, and make the most of Google’s data tools to achieve measurable growth.
The ‘Scale’ component, in contrary, will show participants how to use market and platform diversification strategies to make your app available to a larger audience.
Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, Farhan S. Qureshi, said, “Through our ongoing efforts, we hope to support Pakistani developers in their pursuit of creating great applications for the world.” The Gaming Growth Lab Pakistan 2022 was one of the most useful programs we have thus far attended in Game District, according to Saad Hameed, CEO of Game District. From basics to the most advanced aspects of the mobile gaming industry, we have learned a great deal. The performance of our games has been optimized because to the intuitive knowledge we gained through this program.
