Xiaomi Pad 7’s Pro Version Will Launch Worldwide

Xiaomi’s Pro tablet versions are largely limited to China. The Pad 6 Pro and Max are still only accessible in China, however, the ordinary version of the Pad 6 series was released to other markets. With the release of the Xiaomi Pad 7 range, this should alter.

Contrary to earlier reports that suggested the Pro would remain in its home market, a new report from GSMChina indicates that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will venture outside of China alongside its vanilla sibling. The report discusses the Pad 7 Pro’s internal HyperOS build, which has been seen for the first time.

Since the Pad 7 Pro is also arriving globally, it can be concluded that this internal build is based on the HyperOS global release. However, the article makes no mention of the tablet’s specifications.

While the Pad 7 Pro might have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, there are rumors that the Xiaomi Pad 7 may use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. According to recent reports, the Pad 7 Pro may include an outstanding 144Hz refresh rate LCD panel.

A 50MP dual-camera system placed in a back panel is one of the Pad 7 Pro’s anticipated features. It is expected that the devices will support quick 67W charging, although information on the battery size is currently unidentified. The tablet is planned to include four speakers, catering to those who enjoy audio. Lastly, it is expected to work on Android 14 based on HyperOS 14.

According to reports, Xiaomi intends to present the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at an event in April 2024. It is expected that the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets will also be revealed at the same event.
