Pakistan to send students to China for agricultural training

Pakistan will accelerate its national development by giving its youth opportunity and resources, especially in the agricultural sector, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Wednesday.

The prime minister announced during a ceremony in Islamabad that the government will send 300 students to China for specialized training on modern farming methods. The students were chosen from a group of 1,000 agricultural graduates.

PM Shehbaz underlined that the country’s greatest asset is its youth and that reclaiming Pakistan’s proper position in the world requires investing in their skills.

He said, “These students will gain advanced expertise overseas and then contribute to national progress upon their return.” “We want to change rural communities by giving our young people access to trendy knowledge and business opportunities.”

The prime minister emphasized that graduates will be encouraged to start their own businesses in their fields after completing their studies, especially in rural areas.

The government, he stated, will give them with subsidies, infrastructure, and low-interest loans to assist these projects.

PM Shehbaz praised Chinese President Xi Jinping for agreeing to welcome the Pakistani students and hailed China as Pakistan’s closest partner. He claimed to have seen impressive facilities and innovations in technology during his visit to an agricultural institution in Xi’s hometown.

In order to increase production and exports, he advised the graduates to research China’s agricultural development model and return to Pakistan with its best practices.

Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and all four provinces are represented among the students chosen for the training program, the prime minister stated, and he reiterated that the selection process was solely driven by merit.

The government’s commitment to developing agricultural capacity and guaranteeing youth-led innovation for continued national growth was reinforced by PM Shehbaz.
