Twisted Pizza Sticks Recipe

Ingredient for the dough:

  • Warm Milk: 200 ml
  • Warm Water: 2oo ml
  • Olive Oil: 100 ml
  • Egg: 1
  • Sugar: 1 spoon
  • Dry Yeast: 670 gram
  • Flour: 360 gram
  • Salt: 2 tea spoon

Making of Dough:

In a mixing bowl add milk waiter olive oil  egg sugar yeast mix all of them very well add salt flour and mix them altogether with a spatula, Knead with your hands until the dough is smooth. Leave the dough for 2 hours until doubled in size. Cover the dough and leave for 2 hours or until doubled size.

Ingredients For Filling:

  • Boneless chicken  :boiled & shredded 150g
  • Tikka masala: 1 table spoon
  • Cheddar Chess grated : ½ cup
  • Mozilla Chess grated :1 cup
  • Fresh Parsley Chopped :  1Table spoon
  • Fresh Basil Chopped : 1table spoon
  • Egg white    :  1

Preparation of filling:

In a bowl add chicken tika masala boneless and mix well add cheddar cheese Mozilla chesses salt dried oregano fresh parsley red chilly mix them pizza sauce mix it.

Assembling:

Press and roll the dough to remove air. Cut the dough into two equal parts and roll it out into a rectangle shape. At the one half spread the tomato paste, add cheese and parsley. Spread the second dough on and trim the edges. Cut the dough into strips and brush each strip with melted butter. Add one strip to the opposite side and press the middle with a thin stick.

Twist the strips at both sides to create the shape.On half side of dough, here we add & spread pizza sauce, add prepared chicken & cheese filling & press gently. -Now cut the dough, flip over the filling and cut in 1-inch thick strips.

Now press a wooden skewer on each strip and twist them gently. Place all twisted strips on a baking tray lined with butter paper. -Brush melted butter; sprinkle red chilly crushed and dried oregano (makes 13-14). For the brushing: Butter (melted) Egg yolk  Brush the sticks with the egg yolk  .Bake in preheated oven and bake at 180°C/350°F for 20 minutes. (On both grills). After baking, serve with tomato ketchup and chili sauce.
