PCB Announced the Captain for Series against Bangladesh

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that Shan Masood will continue as the captain for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh.

Naqvi mentioned that he recently had a video call with Shan Masood to discuss enhancing the team’s performance.

Since Masood is currently playing county cricket in London, they couldn’t meet in person. Naqvi stated, “There has been no decision to replace Shan Masood as captain.”

He added, “Numerous positive feedbacks have been received regarding his leadership, and there have been no negative reports.”

The PCB has finalized the venues for the Test series against Bangladesh, which will be hosted in Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.

Official dates and schedules will be announced soon.

Regarding the Champions Trophy 2025, Naqvi confirmed that matches featuring the Indian team and all other teams will take place in Pakistan.

The proposed schedule has already been submitted to the ICC, and efforts are ongoing to ensure the event’s success.
