At Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy is on exhibit

Up till November 25, the Champions Trophy 2025 will be in Karachi.

Cricket fans and officials were mesmerized by the historic trophy’s unveiling at the National Stadium in Karachi, which was part of Pakistan’s preparations to host the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.

In order to give supporters a close-up look at the shining silverware, the ceremony began with a unique picture session. In order to generate excitement among cricket fans, the trophy went on a citywide tour of Karachi after its stadium exhibition, stopping at famous sites.

The award was given out in a spectacular display on Wednesday night at Burns Road Food Street, a cultural hub renowned for its gastronomic legacy and lively atmosphere. Fans rushed to the area to celebrate the ICC Champions Trophy’s historic return to Pakistan under the sparkling lights.

As Pakistan hosts the famous event for the first time since 2008, this tournament represents a significant turning point for the country.

The trophy will go to other participating countries, such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, England, and India, from December 2024 to January 2025. The Pakistan tour will end with the Karachi leg, and it will stay in the city until November 25.

Sunday’s grand launch at the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad marked the start of the trophy’s world tour. After that, it traveled to famous locations including Faisal Mosque, Taxila, Khanpur, Abbottabad, Murree, and Nathiagali before ending its incredible trip through Pakistan in Karachi.

According to the suggested schedule, England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan will be in Group B, while Pakistan will be in Group A with India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Before confirming participation in matches held in Pakistan, the BCCI is seeking discussions with the Indian government.

With a reserve day on March 10, the 2025 Champions Trophy will take place from February 19 to March 9. Lahore will host seven of the matches, including the championship game, while Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will host the other matches. Rawalpindi will host five matches, including the other semi-final, while Karachi’s National Stadium will host the first game and one semifinal. The final will be held in Lahore on March 9 after the semi-finals are scheduled for March 5 and 6.
